Every year in Winchester The Winchester Round Table Bonfire and Fireworks display takes place. This year is was the 49th one. Around 20,000 people follow a torch lit procession from Winchester Guildhall to the North Walls playing fields. Then the bonfire is lit by the Mayor of Winchester. And then the fireworks start….
The fireworks are wonderful, Little Man was quite impressed but preferred his spinning light ‘thingy’ that Uncle Jonny bought him !
Not often I get my two together so it was a lovely evening x
They usually raise about £30,000 for local charities. It is quite unbelievable that the whole event is free but long may it continue ~
that have changed into their autumn colours and being so warm outside. Now onto the lovely cath shop in Winchester, The shop window looks gorgeous with a white voile and them lots of tiny christmas lights…. so simple so pretty.
